Nesta sexta-feira (15), a Est\u00e1cio Feira de Santana<\/a> ser\u00e1 ponto de vacina\u00e7\u00e3o para c\u00e3es e gatos, em uma a\u00e7\u00e3o promovida pela Secretaria Municipal de Sa\u00fade e pelo Centro de Controle de Zoonoses<\/a>. O evento ocorrer\u00e1 das 8h \u00e0s 15h, na sede da institui\u00e7\u00e3o, localizada na Avenida Get\u00falio Vargas, em frente \u00e0 Secretaria Municipal de Sa\u00fade.<\/p>\n

A campanha oferecer\u00e1 a vacina antirr\u00e1bica, destinada a animais com mais de tr\u00eas meses de idade. C\u00e3es e gatos que receberam a vacina h\u00e1 mais de 12 meses tamb\u00e9m devem ser imunizados novamente, j\u00e1 que a vacina\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 a medida mais eficaz no controle da raiva, uma doen\u00e7a grave e fatal que pode ser transmitida aos seres humanos.<\/p>\n

A iniciativa faz parte de uma campanha promovida pela Prefeitura de Feira de Santana<\/a>, iniciada na \u00faltima segunda-feira (11), com postos de vacina\u00e7\u00e3o espalhados em diferentes pontos da cidade.<\/p>\n
