Emerson Pinheiro, atleta amador de 29 anos, que foi atropelado por um carro em Salvador, deixou a Unidade de Terapia Intensiva (UTI) e segue internado na enfermaria do Hospital Geral do Estado (HGE).<\/p>\n

Segundo informa\u00e7\u00f5es do portal g1, Maria do Carmo, av\u00f3 de Emerson afirmou que o desejo dele \u00e9 continuar correndo.<\/p>\n

\u201cEle disse: \u2018Oh v\u00f3, n\u00e3o fique triste n\u00e3o que eu vou seguir toda a minha jornada. Eu vou correr de cadeira de todas, ou muleta ou de pr\u00f3tese, mas em nome de Jesus vou resolver tudo’\u201d, relatou.<\/p>\n

O atropelamento aconteceu h\u00e1 uma semana atr\u00e1s, no dia 16 de agosto na orla da Pituba. O ve\u00edculo invadiu a cal\u00e7ada e atingiu tamb\u00e9m um poste e uma barraca de acaraj\u00e9. O motorista do ve\u00edculo foi preso em flagrante por embriaguez e foi transferido para o Complexo da Mata Escura ap\u00f3s ter a pris\u00e3o preventiva decretada no domingo (17).<\/p>\n

Emerson teve a perna direira amputada e sofreu traumas na perna esquerda, o quadro \u00e9 considerado grave, mas ainda segundo o portal g1, ele permanece est\u00e1vel e l\u00facido.<\/p>\n

O jovem estuda Educa\u00e7\u00e3o F\u00edsica e pratica atletismo h\u00e1 quatro anos. No momento do acidente ele estava participando de um treino coletivo para uma maratona que acontece em setembro em Buenos Aires, na Argentina.<\/p>\n
